Box Office Policies
Ticket Information and Policies
- Tickets may be purchased by clicking the button below, by phone at 901-453-7447 or in person. Box office hours are Tuesday – Friday 10am – 4pm and 2 hours before showtime.
- GCT accepts all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
- GCT does not hold seats without ticket reservation.
- Late patrons may lose their assigned seat and be asked to wait until it will not disrupt the show for them to enter escorted by staff.
- If you are more than 10 minutes late to a sold out performance the House Manager reserves the right to resell your seat to a wait list patron.
- If you are unable to use a purchased ticket, please notify GCT box office at least 24 hours before the performance or you may release it upon arrival with no refund. While there are no refunds, tickets may be exchanged to other similar shows or show dates with advance notice.
- All patrons, regardless of age, require a ticket for entry.
- GCT does not recommend bringing children under the age of 3 to most performances (unless explicitly marketed to young children). Please pay attention to age recommendations as posted per show.
- Due to the nature of live theatre, most performances cannot be “rated” in the same way as a movie or television show. Parents are advised to use their discretion when purchasing tickets for children.
- Programs, dates and artists are subject to change without notice. If an event at GCT has been cancelled or postponed, any changes will be communicated via telephone (if time permits), email, social media pages and Newsletters.
- GCT prohibits outside alcohol, food or drink in the building unless prior permission is granted.
- Free Parking is available on the GCT grounds, behind the Bonnie Robinson Rehearsal Hall building and across the street in the shopping center parking lot. GCT has accessible parking spots for patrons with disabilities.
- Accessible parking spots are located on the south side of the building and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Ramps are available directly in front of the building.
- Two accessible seating spaces for a wheel chair or mobility device and companion seats are available on either end of the front row. Accessible seating may be purchased through website or box office. Please inform the box office of any accessibility needs at the time of ticket purchase.
- Seating capacity is 98. Two of these are empty spaces for wheelchair access. With advance notice, additional wheelchair spaces may be made available, if space permits.
- If you purchase a designated ADA Wheelchair space without medical need or mobility device, the box office reserves the right to refuse to seat you there and will refund or exchange your ticket. For a sold out performance, parties will be added to the end of the wait list for any last minute available seats.
- Pets are not permitted in GCT. Only service animals, as defined by the ADA, will be permitted.
Additionally, we ask patrons to comply with the following:
- The use of cameras and recording devices is strictly prohibited and may incur a fine.
- The use of tobacco products is not permitted in the building or within 20 feet from any entrance.
For lost and found requests, please call GCT at 901-453-7447 and leave your name, telephone number, a detailed message about the item you lost and what performance you attended. If the item is found, we will get back with you as soon as possible
Sensory Friendly Performances
We welcome ALL audience members to our Sensory Friendly Matinees, especially those with sensory needs or neuro-diversities!
For these presentations, we will incorporate the following:
- Lights remain on at a low level in the theater during the performance
- Reduction of any sound or light effects that might be considered startling
- Space throughout the theater for standing and movement, and designated quiet areas available
- Sign Language interpreter provided for the Deaf community.
(Best seating to benefit from sign language would be center of rows B-E as the interpreter may be stationed right or left, if not roaming the stage with actors and front row seats would force you to look back and forth a lot.) - A judgement free audience, where viewers are free to respond however makes them comfortable
